FAQ

Common questions

Does Add Play Button to Image upload my image anywhere?
No. The image never leaves your device — it is decoded in your browser, the play button is drawn over it on a canvas, and the result is saved back out locally. Nothing is transmitted or stored.
What image formats are accepted?
PNG, JPEG, and WebP, up to 10 MB. Animated GIFs are rejected because flattening one frame would silently throw away the animation.
Why do I have to press Generate before seeing a result?
Compositing a play button over a large image is a deliberate, one-shot action rather than a live preview — waiting for the button press keeps the page responsive and makes it obvious which settings produced the image you are about to download.
Will my image be stretched to fit a preset size?
No. Fixed-size presets center-crop the image to the target dimensions instead of stretching it, so people and objects keep their proportions. The Original preset keeps your image exactly as uploaded.

Creator Tools is a set of practical utilities for social publishing: add play buttons to images, make memes, download YouTube thumbnails, or create permanent YouTube share links with a stable preview. Image-only editing runs in your browser; share-link tools save an image snapshot when you choose to generate a link.

Add a play button to any image

Add Play Button to Image puts a crisp vector play button over a PNG, JPEG, or WebP — no upload, no watermark. Pick from twelve styles, five placements, and adjustable size and opacity, then download at the original size or one of four common thumbnail dimensions.

Make a custom YouTube share preview

Custom YouTube Share Thumbnail lets you edit the share title and optionally upload a PNG, JPEG, or WebP thumbnail. Preview the card first, then press Generate to create an immutable, publicly accessible link with a private deletion option.
