PDF to SVG Converter
Extract each page of a PDF document as a scalable SVG vector graphic. SVG files are tiny, infinitely scalable, and ideal for design and editing work. Note: vectorizing a PDF page into clean paths is non-trivial — output quality depends heavily on the source PDF.
How to Convert PDF to SVG
1. Upload Your PDF File
Drag a .pdf file onto the drop zone, or click to browse. Files up to 10MB are supported.
2. Pick a target
Choose the target format you want — by default this converts to SVG.
3. Download the result
Click Convert, preview, and download.
Why Convert PDF to SVG?
- Infinitely scalable — SVG renders crisply at any size.
- Editable — SVG can be opened in any vector editor for further refinement.
- Web-friendly — modern browsers render inline SVG natively.
About PDF and SVG
PDF is a portable document container with vector and raster content. SVG is an XML-based vector format. Convert PDF → SVG when you want a scalable, editable copy of a PDF page and don't mind the format switch.
A note on support
This is an alias of our Image Converter. The Image Converter currently supports HEIC, TIFF, and SVG as input, but PDF is not yet an accepted source format. The PDF → SVG path is a placeholder pending backend rollout — PDF vectorization requires a PDF reader/vectorizer that is not yet wired up. The page exists so the URL resolves and the navigation is complete — once the vectorizer lands, no further changes will be needed here.
