About PNG and TIFF
PNG is a lossless raster format with full transparency. TIFF is a lossless container widely used for scanned documents and print. Convert PNG → TIFF when the destination is a print shop, scanner, or archive that requires TIFF.
A note on support
This is an alias of our Image Converter. The Image Converter currently supports HEIC, TIFF, and SVG as input. The TIFF output path is a placeholder pending backend rollout — re-encoding as TIFF requires a TIFF writer that is not yet wired up. The page exists so the URL resolves and the navigation is complete — once the writer lands, no further changes will be needed here.
