JPG to SVG Converter
Convert a raster JPG photo into a scalable SVG vector graphic. SVG files are tiny, infinitely scalable, and ideal for icons, logos, and design work. Note: true vectorization (tracing the photo into paths) is a hard problem; this tool's SVG output is typically a wrapped raster.
How to Convert JPG to SVG
1. Upload Your JPG File
Drag a .jpg or .jpeg file onto the drop zone, or click to browse. Files up to 10MB are supported.
2. Pick a target
Choose the target format you want — by default this converts to SVG.
3. Download the result
Click Convert, preview, and download.
Why Convert JPG to SVG?
- Infinitely scalable — SVG renders crisply at any size.
- Smaller files — for simple graphics, SVG is much smaller than a high-res JPG.
- Editable — SVG can be opened in any vector editor for further refinement.
- Web-friendly — modern browsers render inline SVG natively.
About JPG and SVG
JPG is a lossy raster format with universal support. SVG is an XML-based vector format. Convert JPG → SVG when you want a scalable, editable copy of a raster image and don't mind the format switch.
A note on support
This is an alias of our Image Converter. The Image Converter currently supports HEIC, TIFF, and SVG as input. The SVG output path is a placeholder pending backend rollout — generating SVG from a raster typically requires a tracing step that is not yet wired up. The page exists so the URL resolves and the navigation is complete — once the vectorizer lands, no further changes will be needed here.
