FAQ

Common questions

Do these tools know my local time zone?
The world clock and timers read your device's clock and time zone automatically. The time zone converter and time zone abbreviations reference are manual — you pick both zones yourself.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. All calculation and rendering happens in your browser. The calendar tool's image/PDF export is also generated locally — nothing is uploaded.
Which countries' holidays does the calendar show?
US holidays only, for now — support for other countries isn't built yet.
Can I use the countdown timer for a live event page?
Yes — it generates embed code you can paste elsewhere, and regenerates automatically whenever you change the target date or display settings.

Working across time zones, tracking a deadline, or just wanting to know what time it is somewhere else — these eight tools cover the calendar and clock questions that come up constantly and are still oddly fiddly to answer by hand.

Time zones without the mental math

The time zone converter and world clock both use IANA time zone data, so they account for daylight saving correctly instead of assuming a fixed offset — a plain "+5 hours" calculation breaks twice a year in most countries, and these don't. The time zone abbreviations reference is a static, searchable list for when you just need to know what "PST" or "IST" stands for.

Durations and countdowns

The time duration calculator gives an exact span between two dates, down to the day. The countdown timer and stopwatch are live, running entirely on your device's clock — the countdown also generates embed code you can paste into another page, which updates automatically if you change the target date.

Calendar and holidays

The calendar tool generates a full year or month view, with US public holidays marked, and exports as an image or PDF for printing or sharing. Holiday data currently covers the United States only.

Nothing is uploaded

Every tool in this category runs on your device's own clock and JavaScript engine. Nothing you enter — a target date, a time zone pair, a duration — is sent anywhere.
