From your browser's own timezone setting (Intl.DateTimeFormat().resolvedOptions().timeZone) — the same setting your operating system uses, not your IP address or location.
Does this account for daylight saving time?
Yes — each clock is computed from the full IANA timezone name (e.g. "Europe/London"), so the correct offset for today's date is always used, DST included.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Every clock updates locally in your browser once a second — nothing is transmitted, logged, or stored.
